I Love My Man

July 26, 2016

As a working wife to a stay at home dad who works hard all day to not only take care of the kids and help with 25% of the house work (because Im fair and nice like that even though HE’S the stay at home parent), he still takes care of the “man stuff” like doing the yard, working on cars, fixing the appliances. He’s a badass man that knows how to get down and dirty and hunt, build a fire, and please his woman!

Having a good partner in life makes things a lot easier. Trust me. If you have one, you’re truly blessed (If you don’t, don’t worry; they’re out there!). Anyway…..he sold his motorcycle (as well as a lot of other “toys”) to help save and make money for a house/for our family. His life has been revolving 100% around me and our kids….and as much as I love him, I feel that he (aka me) could use some alone time with himself or friends, SO I bought him a dual sport motorcycle, similar to the one he sold, but newer and freakin AWESOME. I plan on surprising him on his birthday next month! It is currently being taken care of at a good family friend’s house in the country. He is spiffing it up even more to make this thing look amazing and custom for him. I am so excited to see my husband’s expression when our friend drops it off on his birthday.

God has blessed me with a great job that pays well, and is blessing our family. The least I could do is show how much I love and am thankful to my husband for all of his daily sacrifices.

Family means everything to me because I have felt the lack of it…..

Cheers
