I’m tired of people not speaking up, respectable people who consume kratom stay silent because they dont want to risk “looking bad”. Why does it look bad to consume kratom? Because of ignorant people, or those who abuse something and then give it a bad reputation.

This was such an important topic for me to cover that I even went out of my way to make a video about it. I even through in some short clips for social media channels. This is something that needs to be said and understood if you value kratom and desire it to be or remain legal.
Why do I do the above ritual? Why do I happen to think the moon holds some God like power? In Shakespeare’s “Othello,” Emilia tells Othello that the moon has “drawn too close to the Earth” — and driven men insane. The idea that full moons hold power, can disrupt emotion state of minds, and might even cause physical illness or changes, is a very strong belief for generations and even in today’s generation. Here are some recent research that is beginning to confirm some truths to those ancient rumors.
You may have heard of the seed called, Akuamma. It is usually ground up in powder form because these are not seeds one can pop in their mouth like sunflower seeds. I made the mistake in buying the full blown seeds and wasted my freakin money. Don’t buy the seeds. Buy the powder either by itself or in capsules. Now, what is so great about Akuamma seeds? Well, it is commonly known to help control pain and relief some of the discomfort pain causes. It works with the same opioid receptors, but there are so many other benefits it has. The seeds contain various types of alkaloids which include akuammine and pericine.
Hirsuta is like kratom’s little sister. Mitragyna Hirsuta is apart of the same family, just like the coffee bean (Rubiacease family). The leaves are green with a light green/white veins. They are smaller than the kratom leaves in size, but hold a similar structural appearance. It too is native to the Asian Pacific area (Cambodia, Malayasia, Vietnam & Thailand), and it pretty popular over there right along side kratom.
It is a common thing to wonder about side effects when taking something like kratom. There are side effects to pretty much everything that we implement into our lives. There are side effects to our morning cup of coffee (crash, headaches, anxiety). There are side effects to medication we are prescribed by our trusted doctors. Fact is, we accept the possibility of side effects and even often times accept the side effects themselves; but that heavily depends on how much we need “said thing” in our lives.
FIRST, i am not hating on recreational consumers. Ive been one at one point in my life. Im a recreational consumer of alcohol on a rare occasion, so i get it…. BUT when it comes to alternative medicine that is always being watched by the big man upstairs (aka our government who looks for ways where they can make money at every turn),
My story is a boring one to me, but a life changing one of encouragement to many others. I’ll be honest, there were many times I wanted to hang up my advocacy work and quit all this, but then I’d receive that one message from a “fan” who credits me for their life changing, who says: “If it wasn’t for you and your videos years ago, I wouldn’t have found kratom when I did. My life wouldnt have been changed for the better if it wasn’t for you.”
