The stay at home order hit our state (Oregon) in mid March. It is crazy thinking back on how drastically and quickly things changed in such a short period of time. Staying home is either an easy or a hard thing to do. If you are a home body and love/prefer to stay home, then this order was and is a piece of cake to follow. If you love going out every night, eating out and socializing, then this order might be causing you some major issues mentally and/or physically. No doubt we will soon see the damage this hard season has caused millions. Some things are already coming out like an increase in domestic abuse and other mental health issues. And this is just the beginning of it unfortunately.
As a person who suffers with chronic pain which can affect my mental stability, kratom couldn’t be more important to have as a daily asset to my at home routine.
Common benefits of kratom:
Helps with depression/mood/anxiety
Helps with pain
Helps with inflammation
and more
Best kratom strains to take for depression and mood during this hard Stay at Home season we find ourselves in:
Custom blend called Afternoon Delight: This blended 50/50 mix of Red Bali and White Maeng Da gives two opposite spectrums of effects that work together. Best taken in the afternoon for energetic yet relaxing effects to feel good finishing out your day.
Relieving Green: My personal favorite to help combat both mood and pain. If you need a relief, take Relieving Green. It will relieve you of pain and a nasty mood.

Relaxing Red: Pure Red Bali that is perfect for the end of your day. It is known for its mood enhancement and relaxation effects as well as pain relieving benefits.
How to Manage Depression and Anxiety during Covid 19 Lockdown:
Along with kratom, there are some other tools that can help you during this time.
1.) Stay positive – Force yourself to be positive! Reframe “I am stuck inside” to “I can finally focus on my home and myself”
Doing one positive thing per day can lead to a more positive attitude. Set your sights on long-avoided tasks, reorganize, or create something you’ve always wanted to. Being negative will only increase your depression and anxiety and actually make things feel worse than they really are. Slow down and focus on yourself.
2.) Try to stay faithful to your normal routine prior to the Covid 19 lockdown.
Attempt to keep up some similarity to structure from the pre-isolate days. For those people with kids, adhering to a routine may be simpler; anyway as you telecommute, it could be enticing to fall into a downturn which could prompt adverse reasoning. Wake up and hit the hay around a similar time, eat dinners, shower, adjust your activity routine, and escape out of your PJ’s. Trying to keep things as normal to the way things used to be as much as possible will help in a huge way.
3.) Avoid watching the news.
Freeing up your day from work or social obligations gives you plenty of time to obsess on what is going on outside of your closed doors, and if you have a tendency to consult Google for every thing, you may be over-researching the pandemic as well. Choosing only certain credible websites (who.int or cdc.gov is a good start) for a limited amount of time each day will be in your best interest during this time.
4.) A messy home can lead to a messy mind.
With all the uncertainly happening outside your home, keep the inside organized, predictable and clean. A cluttered home can cause you to become uneasy and claustrophobic of your environment- so keep it tidy.
5.) Start a new quarantine ritual
With this additional time on our hands, why not do something special during these quarantined days? For ex-ample, perhaps you can start a journal to jot down thoughts and feelings to reflect on later. Or take a walk every day, connect with someone over FaceTime every morning, or start a painting class on zoom. Having something special during this time will help you look forward to each new day.
6.) Use telehealth as an option to talk to a professional if your anxiety becomes unmanageable
Many licensed psychologists are offering telehealth options over HIPAA-compliant video chat platforms. Remember to reach out for help if your anxiety is reaching proportions that is unmanageable without professional help.
It is important to be selfish during this time. The above steps are all helpful guidelines to keep you mentally healthy. Adding kratom to the mix only increases that self care. Visit Lifted Organics Lab for additional variety of strains and blends that are known to help moods in all kinds of ways. Use code KRATOMGIRL for 10% off your order.
Hang in there! Our world has survived worse.
